Writers say life is collection of many chapters. To me, life is set of trillion frames running at lightning speed. I born and brought up in a small town. My father is my first art teacher who taught me how to draw a cow. I don’t remember but would have drawn cow thousand times when I was child.
Due to pressure, I joined graduation course in literature but my heart was in somewhere else.
Very soon I ran away from traditional courses and joined BVA in Govt College of Art and Craft in Kolkata. Those 5 years are probably the best time in my life.
Even after 15 years since I graduated, I am still learning. The tiny things around me still surprises me. The emotions and faces triggers me constantly.
Painting is probably the only way to express myself. The sketch on the paper are my lifelines and the colors on the canvas are my emotions. I know of nothing but painting since I was 5 years old. This is what I love and live.
