Born in 1992 in Rajapur, a coastal town in Maharashtra, his early years were surrounded by lush greenery, orchards, and the serene beauty of the nearby sea. These natural surroundings left a deep impression on his imagination and continue to influence the themes and atmosphere of his paintings.

He pursued formal training in fine arts at the L. S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai, where he completed his G.D. Art in Drawing and Painting. His academic training helped him develop a strong technical foundation while encouraging exploration of personal expression and visual storytelling.

Working primarily in oil and watercolour, Thukrul creates layered compositions that capture light, mood, and the poetic essence of nature.
