Sanjay Tandekar (also known as Sanjay Ramprasad Tandekar) is a contemporary Indian visual artist based in Panvel, Maharashtra, whose work radiates positivity, colour, and celebratory energy. Born in 1986, he completed his B.F.A. (Painting) in 2009 and M.F.A. (Creative Painting) in 2011 from Govt. Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya and the Department of Fine Arts at RTM University, Nagpur.

From early on, Tandekar found inspiration in the vibrant expressions of life around him, and art became a means to express joy, love, and celebration. His paintings often depict women, peacocks, and symbolic forms using bright, uplifting colours, with compositions that convey positive emotion and dreams.

A blend of contemporary expression and symbolic narrative marks his artistic journey.
