Professor Niren Sengupta — Guest of Honour for IndiGalleria’s Online Art Exhibition
Professor Niren Sengupta is a renowned Indian contemporary painter and former Principal of the College of Art, New Delhi. Born in 1940 in Bengal, his artistic journey continues to inspire countless students, art lovers, and fellow artists across generations.
Although he graduated in Science from Calcutta University, it was his deep inner calling toward art that shaped his life’s true direction. His transition from the sciences to fine art stands as a testament to his dedication, courage, and the profound sincerity with which he pursued his passion.
