At IndiGalleria, we always ensure that the artwork you see is the artwork you receive. If you have any doubts or concerns, you can request additional images or videos of the artwork before placing your order.
Order Cancellation
Typically, once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled. However, we do allow cancellations within 24 hours of placing the order. Since processing begins immediately, please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.
Note: Once the order has been dispatched, cancellations are no longer possible. However, free cancellation may still be allowed upon request if the artwork has not yet been shipped.
Return Request
A buyer may return a piece only if it is received in a damaged condition. The damage must be reported within 72 hours of receiving the order, and the artwork must be shipped back within 7 days of delivery.

“Sursundari” — the celestial beauty, is a timeless motif in Indian art and architecture. These sculpted female figures, seen adorning the medieval temples of India, embody grace, divinity, and the celebration of feminine energy. Through my paintings, I seek to reimagine the Sursundari as a bridge between the spiritual and the cultural, connecting the elegance of temple art with the ancient legacy of the Harappan civilization.
It is widely believed that the people of Harappa worshiped a Mother Goddess, symbolizing fertility and creation. Numerous female figurines unearthed from the Indus Valley, crafted from terracotta, steatite, and metal, reveal their devotion, artistry, and even early expressions of dance. Iconic discoveries such as the bronze Dancing Girl, the steatite Priest-King, and terracotta models of daily life reflect the depth of their aesthetic and spiritual world.
This artwork is a tribute to that enduring heritage, a fusion of India’s ancient culture and its divine feminine spirit. Through color, form, and expression, Celestial Beauty in Memory of Harappa celebrates the eternal presence of the goddess within our collective memory.
