This landscape is inspired by my winter trip to the UK, where the quality of light felt distinctly different from what I was accustomed to. The winter glare when the low sun suddenly emerges through the cold air creates a sharp yet beautiful brightness. Though it slightly irritates the eyes, it brings a sense of clarity and freshness to the surroundings. The way light falls on the trees and ground instantly transforms the mood. In this work, I have focused on capturing the simple yet striking character of winter light and its quiet emotional impact.
